Care routine: less is more
The vegetable glycerin base in LUVO diffusers is designed to run completely on its own. Unlike alcohol-based diffusers, it requires no regular handling.
🚫 Never flip the reeds
Rule number one. Glycerin wicks by passive capillary action — a slow, continuous process that preserves every drop. Flipping forces a sudden surge that saturates the reeds and burns through the fragrance. Leave the reeds alone.
What to do — and when
Insert 4 reeds in a fan shape. Space them out to maximize diffusion surface. Avoid bundling them together — air circulates less and the effect is reduced.
Place the diffuser at nose height (90–150 cm), away from open windows, fans, and air vents. For a stronger presence, position closer to a gentle heat source or high-traffic zone. For subtler diffusion, tuck it further from foot traffic. For large open spaces, two diffusers at opposite ends give better results than one.
Reeds accumulate dust and lose porosity over time. Replace them with the fresh set included in your refill. The liquid stays — only the reeds change.
Refill when 10–15% remains. Fully dry reeds harden quickly and lose absorption capacity. Refilling on time preserves both the bottle and the reeds for another full cycle.
Once a year, rinse with warm water and let it dry completely before refilling. Glycerin leaves almost no residue — cleaning takes two minutes.
